Meet Lucy 

​​

Lucy is the first qualified LiBDO teacher in the UK, certified by Irina Pivtsaikina in September 2025. After becoming a mother, she experienced a loss of strength in her pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. She tried many approaches with limited success until discovering LiBDO in December 2024. Within weeks, her symptoms resolved.

 

Since then, Lucy has been committed to making LiBDO accessible to other women. She is also a qualified Kundalini Yoga teacher and a Reiki Master. Earlier in her career, she worked in the corporate world at the World Bank and Boston Consulting Group. Lucy lives in London with her husband and two children.

The LiBDO Journey

Almost every woman who starts LiBDO finds the movements difficult at first. Many can’t feel their pelvic floor engaging at all. Over weeks and months, strength returns, neurological connections rebuild, and the movements begin to make sense.

​Even so, the exercises feel good from the
very first class.

​

Colourful outfits aren’t compulsory—but they do reflect the vibrant energy of the classes. We also wear soft leggings so you can feel the full range of movement in your body.

It's a great pelvic floor workout.  It encourages you to engage your pelvic floor in different directions.  I love the use of different rhythmic movements.  Working in a group makes it easier to make time for your pelvic floor health. Lucy is a wonderful, warm and precise teacher.
